As the saying goes: “Leave only footprints and take home only photos.” But with Y Tam, we bring back not just photos but a whole sky of memories: beautiful recollections, real emotions, and love that comes with longing. Although the moon season has ended, its echoes will stay forever in each of your hearts.

“Dear, beloved Y Tam!

First of all, I'd like to send my sincere thanks to the Y Tam organizing team, and special thanks to Ms. Nguyệt!

Next, thank you to all the brothers and sisters who were with me throughout the recent trip! Even though we were meeting for the first time, it felt as if we had known each other for ages.

The program lasted only 2 days, but it was the fruit of the effort, dedication and enthusiasm of many people over a long period of time.

Personally, I'm very happy with the program, and I'm sure everyone else is too. A journey with so many emotions.

The program was very practical and meaningful, not only for the children of Yang Mao; it also made me realize how small I still am, that I need to give more and to live truly happily. That is all thanks to the love of the Y Tam brothers and sisters and the connection and closeness among everyone. Those moments and the time we spent together will stay with each of us forever. Xuân truly cherishes and admires the Y Tam family so, so much!

Wishing Y Tam ever more energy and love to spread further and further!

Love you always!”—->>>Shared by Vũ Cẩm Xuân

“Dear Y Tam,

First, my sincere thanks to everyone at Y Tam for organizing such a meaningful and humane program for the children of Yang Mao, and also for volunteers like us. I have taken part in and organized quite a few similar charity activities before, but Y Tam showed me a completely different side, with giving and receiving among everyone who takes part, and with the principles “Nothing in this life is free” and “You give one thing and you will receive something else of equal worth in return.” This was my first time, but I didn't feel like a stranger or closed off at all; everyone was always enthusiastic, cheerful and friendly, always creating an atmosphere full of energy.

As for suggestions: I have just one small suggestion about communicating the program's details and schedule, so that everyone can grasp them and respond proactively when something unexpected comes up (for example, we weren't entirely sure whether we should guide the children back to join the next activity after the lantern procession), and about the preparation stage right at the start, so that we can give the best possible support to the main lead of each part (especially Dân, who led the setup of the booth area for the children). Apart from that, I think the program content was just wonderful 🙂 🙂

I'd like to thank Ms. Nguyệt, Ms. Viên, all the brothers and sisters, and all the Y Tam volunteers for creating such a meaningful and memorable trip together. I hope that in the next activities I'll have the chance to stand shoulder to shoulder with everyone and contribute my small part…”—->>>Shared by Trần Hoài Tân

“First of all, I'd like to thank the group for planning and making it possible for me to join this program with the whole Y Tam family.
Even though I really didn't know anyone, the whole family was always very friendly and enthusiastic, supporting one another and working hard to make the program as good as it could be, even though there were a few small shortcomings and unhappy moments.
That night on the bus, when Ms. Nguyệt asked each member for their personal thoughts, I really wanted to speak up and say thank you too, but after listening, mine would have been just one more thank-you like everyone else's, which felt a bit dull, when in fact I had cried a lot: while waiting for everyone to bathe at the waterfall, on the bus before she started speaking, while she was speaking and afterwards too. I just tried to hide it, staying silent and turning my face to the window to hide it all.
Maybe I didn't come across very well in everyone's eyes, or you couldn't understand me because of my silence; if I did anything wrong, I hope you'll forgive me. It's just that I'm not very good at expressing myself, and I'm quite quiet in a crowd.
But truly, thank you to the program for teaching me so much on this trip. The tiredness, the sunburned skin and the stinging face were unavoidable for everyone alike, but they are nothing compared with life over there. Honestly, so many things there made my heart ache. It taught me more about life in my own homeland; it was heartbreaking, but it also gave me many lessons and more motivation to try even harder. I hope the group will always receive lots of attention, donations and support, so that it keeps getting better and continues its long journey of helping many more lives and making life better!”—->>>Shared by Nguyễn Vy
