Early Spring Get-Together – Y Tam Education Support

Last Sunday (4/3), Y Tam went to Bình Phước to hold a New Year get-together with the children receiving scholarship sponsorship through the Y Tam Education Support project.

We were so happy that all the children came (from Bình Dương and Bình Phước), joined by their parents and representatives of the local authorities

Although this is the 4th year of the project, it is the first time Y Tam has been able to hold a gathering of all the children like this, a chance for them to get to know, connect and bond with one another.

The older brothers and sisters from Y Tam went to the market with the children, cooked together and shared a warm meal. Then everyone played group games under the leafy rubber trees, with laughter ringing out all around…

In addition, Y Tam listened as the children shared the problems they still face with their studies, such as the school bus breaking down so often that they have to miss school, teachers still using violent discipline, discrimination in the classroom…

The local representatives took note of the children's concerns and promised to find ways to support them.
