Unable to stand by in the face of such a “ruined”, run-down sight and simply carry on with the coming celebration, Y Tam quickly joined forces with our red-shirted volunteer team to give the Pa Tếch school site in Tân Hưng, Bình Phước a new coat.
Amid the bustle of the days just before Tết, alongside the colorful, cheerful spring festival and the bánh tét hanging along the school's porch, we suddenly noticed how badly the paint was peeling off the walls. Red dirt smeared the bottoms and corners of the walls, rust had eaten into every last crevice of the windows, and bright green moss was spreading in clumps, creeping right up to the corners of the red-tiled school roof…
The Pa Tếch school site, dilapidated and badly damaged
Unable to stand by in the face of such a “ruined”, run-down sight and simply carry on with the coming celebration, Y Tam quickly joined forces with our red-shirted volunteer team to clean, sand and repaint every corner of the walls, right down to every gap in the windows, and to replace all the broken windowpanes… We worked carefully, bit by bit, hoping that next year the children will have a neat, bright school and a better learning environment, with a relaxed spirit to absorb their lessons more firmly! We hope the children will always fulfill their studies as excellently as they can and become the brightest young shoots of a future generation.

Y Tam sincerely thanks the ECONO paint company for sponsoring all the paint for the school, and our donors for funding the replacement windowpanes and the remaining repairs. Special thanks to the volunteers who put in the work to renew the school. We wish all our donors and friends a New Year of peace, prosperity and every wish come true.
