Inauguration and Handover of the Vĩnh Long Rural Road

Dear donors and friends!

Construction of the Y Tam rural road began on 6/7/2019. Thanks to the joint efforts of the local residents and Y Tam members, the work was completed in just 4 days, earlier than planned. The road is nearly 400 m long, 1.2 m wide and 0.1 m thick.

To the residents' great delight, on 21/7/2019 Y Tam held the inauguration ceremony to hand over the new road and the repaired bridge to the community.

On the day of the inauguration the sky was clear and blue, the fields of sugarcane and corn stood tall and green, and Y Tam's bright colors stood out against the landscape. That moment marked a new turning point, ending the long years in which people had to use a muddy dirt road that made getting around so difficult.

In its place is a long, smooth, solid concrete road on which everyone can travel safely, especially the elderly and children going to school. The ceremony was a great success, attended by nearly 30 Y Tam members, residents of Kinh Đào and Mỹ Thạnh A hamlets and leaders of Lục Sĩ Thành commune. Y Tam sincerely thanks:
