On the afternoon of Sunday 29/11, Y Tam held a piggy bank smashing festival to raise funds for the Y Tam rural bridge in Phụng Hiệp, Hậu Giang.
The festival was lively, exciting and meaningful.
Y Tam member Nguyễn Ngọc shared her impressions of the festival:
“A Sunday full of meaning.
Y Tam's yard awash in red.
Young people brimming with enthusiasm.
A little each day, just a little, but it adds up to something immensely meaningful…”.
It was also a chance for Y Tam members to get to know each other, have fun and strengthen our team spirit, moving forward together on the path of volunteering and sharing.
At the end of the festival, Y Tam launched round 2 of the “Raise a Piggy, Build a Bridge” fundraising campaign.
Y Tam sincerely thanks all our donors and friends who have been dropping coins into their piggy banks all this time. Each clay piggy bank is a brick we contribute toward building the Y Tam rural bridge, helping the people of Phụng Hiệp, Hậu Giang.
A few piggy banks have not come in yet, so Y Tam will soon update our donors with the total amount raised through this piggy bank fundraiser.
