I/ PROJECT PURPOSE AND MEANING

Dear businesses, donors and all benefactors in Vietnam and abroad!

Every year, Y Tam carries out an education project that includes activities such as building or repainting schools, awarding scholarships to children from ethnic minority communities who are striving to overcome hardship, and organizing games and campfires for the children…

Blazing Summer is this year's Y Tam education support project. It will take place on 3-4/9/2016,  with the aim of continuing to award full scholarships to 6 students and repainting 2 primary school sites in Đồng Tiến commune, Đồng Phú, Bình Phước.

Y Tam Education Support Project: Blazing Summer 2016

In addition, Y Tam will hold an early Mid-Autumn Festival for the children at these two schools, with activities including: a festival with game booths,  a Mid-Autumn lantern procession, a campfire, music and performances…

II/ PROJECT CONTENT

1/ Long-term scholarship sponsorship for 6 high-achieving students in especially difficult circumstances.

This is the 3rd year in which we continue to sponsor the study costs of 6 students, who were thoroughly assessed on their academic results, family situation and school, and above all on their diligence and love of learning. We keep an individual file for each student so that we can regularly follow their progress and encourage them to study and become useful people in the future. However, the sponsorship is reviewed every year, and students may be removed or added. The level of sponsorship is based on actual needs: tuition, school supplies and other fees.

The 6 students selected for full scholarship sponsorship in 2015:
