❤The lights are now shining all across the villages!
Y Tam cannot find enough words to describe the joy and excitement of the people of Yang Hanh and Ea Hăn villages, Cư Dram commune, Krong Bông, as one solar light pole after another lit up the village roads!
Mr. Sang, head of Ea Hăn village, overjoyed, told us: “I went to each light pole and looked up. I checked all 44 poles in my village; they light up every road in the village. It's the first time I've seen my village look so beautiful at night…!”
Not only in Yang Hanh but in Ea Hăn too, everyone from the elderly to the children and the young people poured out into the streets to admire the result! They said that before, once night fell, children didn't dare go outside for fear of bumping into things and didn't dare go out to play, but now that there are lights, they're afraid the kids will go out to play and never want to come home (everyone burst out laughing)
Sharing in the joy of the people of the 2 villages, Y Tam also basked in that happiness, because from the start of the project to its completion everything went very smoothly: from raising the funds in just 3 weeks, to 5 days in a row of beautiful sunny weather (even though it had been pouring before and we had considered postponing the start date), to the unity, solidarity and joint efforts of the villagers…
Everything truly came together: the right time, the right place and the right people, so the project was finished quickly in just 5 days! Y Tam has no words other than to send our most sincere thanks to everyone! And Y Tam will write a separate thank-you letter!
