Morning of 6/3/2016
Kicking off a new year of volunteering, Y Tam members set out in their red shirts, brimming with enthusiasm, and successfully carried out Round 5 of the Y Tam Kitchen: Sharing Rice program.
After a long, sleepless night, the “fire power” of more than 20 Y Tam members produced 3 pots of top-quality minced meat porridge, so fragrant it warmed everyone's hearts!
Even so, without waiting for daybreak, at 5 a.m. the volunteers eagerly carried the containers of porridge to the gate of Phạm Ngọc Thạch Hospital to hand out to the patients there.
After handing out 150 portions of porridge at the hospital, they drove another 50 portions all the way to Thánh Tâm children's home in Hóc Môn, in time for the children's breakfast.
And of course, Y Tam did not forget to bring the gifts our donors had sent for the children, such as milk, sweets and clothes, and to hand them to the children in person.
Y Tam sincerely thanks our donors for contributing funds, porridge ingredients, gifts… and helping Y Tam carry out this program so well.
Thank you to all Y Tam members and volunteers for contributing your volunteer work and your passionate hearts for the poor!
Y Tam wishes our donors and all of you good health and peace in everything <3
Y Tam loves you all so much <3
