Financial Report: Blazing Summer 2018 Program

Dear businesses, donors and all Y Tam members and volunteers,

On 16-17/6/2018, Y Tam completed the Blazing Summer 2018 program in Phú Nghĩa commune, Bù Gia Mập, Bình Phước. It was a complete success, with the following activities:

1/ Built a playground made from recycled car and motorbike tires, with 19 combined play structures

2/ Fully renovated a primary school with 4 classrooms, including: a complete new coat of paint, patching the old tiled floors, thoroughly cleaning the equipment, and waterproofing and fixing leaks in the school.

3/ Held a campfire night of fun, music and performances with the ethnic minority children

4/ Held a festival day of fun for 200 children with 10 folk game stalls

5/ Cooked more than 200 bowls of bánh canh noodle soup and herbal sâm drink so the children could play on full stomachs

6/ Gave 200 gift packs of cakes, sweets and milk to the children who attended the festival

In addition, Y Tam created a space for learning, bonding and sharing for the volunteers and the sponsors who accompanied the program.
